Description:
Attempts to access the CD drive fail with the following error messages. These occour at boot time if there is a disk in the drive, and either when mounting the disk or shortly thereafter (I can often do two or three `ls'es and `cd's)
This problem first appeared when attempting to burn, but I hadn't checked it beforehand. It first showed on the 5.3 prereleases, but that co-incided with a motherboard swap.
