Fwd: Epson LQ300+ setup

Hi! I have put this problem on forum a couple of days ago, but
unfortunately nobody seems to know the solution. I've tried to set up
the printer in various ways, but neither of them succeedded. Now I redid
everything in accordance with "The complete FreeBSD", Chapter
"Printers". Now my //etc/printcap/ file looks as follows:

lp|ps|epson|Epson|Epson LQ300+:\

The following tests have succeeded:
$ lptest 80 5 | lpr
# ps waux > /dev/lpt0
both print some test info successfully. However, wherever I try to
perform  another test
$ ps waux | lpr
or simply print something from  Mozilla or any editor, the document
seems to be sent to printer by the programm, no errors. But the printer
itself doesn' t react in any way. Also in the terminal, where I am
logged in as a root I get the following system message:
Sept 26 12:16:10 btv lpd[724]: lp: cannot
execv(/usr/local/libexec/psfilter): Permission denied

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thanks beforehand! :)
