Firewire and USB 2.0 combo cards

Hello,

I'm looking for Firewire and USB 2.0 combo cards for
my laptop and servers.

Can anyone report success using either of these
products with FreeBSD 5.2.1 or later?

I'd like to hook up a Plextor 708UF

to the laptop and servers for backups, etc., and also
an external FIrewire or USB 2.0 hard drive for extra
storage.

If not this equipment, any other recommendations?
