yes ppp.conf is good and is as below:

  add default HISADDR

I have tailed the logs and can watch the whole sequence and it just says
chat script failed no mention of pap or auth

This is on 4.7, 4.8, 5.0 and 5.0 current. :(

Hello Adrian

I had this device with 4.5 and 4.6 whithout any
problem and should work for 4.7 and 5 are you sure you
made your homework configurating it well in ppp.conf?
