looking for cheap 2- or 4-CPU mainboard for FreeBSD 4 and 5

Does FreeBSD run well on 4-CPU boards ?
If yes, using which board / cpu combination ?

I don't want to spend much money, wanna buy it to
play a little with SMP ...  Some recommendations ?
