I've been carrying that patch around and have even updated it
recently to apply cleanly to stable/9.
I'll try to get some time today to post the updated patch.
Again, I'm not the original author of the patch (*think it was
Sergey), but it's been doing wonders for allowing us to run
32-bit vimage jails on 64-bit hosts (which is important for
things like being able to produce 32-bit binaries without
having to do a cross-compile).
