If you do not want to use 10.0, then go with 9.2, and upgrade to 9.3
when it comes out, which will be supported for 2+ years.

The advantage to 10.0 (or using stable/10) is that you get support going
forward until the end of 2018, compared to mid-2016 with 9.2

But this assumes you keep up-to-date, and don't just stick with the
version you start with.
