Hello guys,
I just found how to disable (my) nVidia Optimus card.
With the help of:
https://github.com/mkottman/acpi_call/
Peter Wu from bbswitch
sysutils/acpi_calls
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/acpi_calls && make install clean
kldload acpi_call
acpi_call -d /dev/acpi -p "\_SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP._OFF"
nVidia card is on 1:0:0 port. It's just fine now, I can use FreeBSD on
my desktop without the need of a nuclear power plant !
PS: I've also installed nvidia kernel module and loaded it, I don't know
if it works without.
If you know someone using this crappy hardware, try an acpi call ;)
