With all due respect, I think that if you've done the same wrong thing the
same wrong way multiple times, and haven't learned not to keep doing it
wrong, changing the code to meet your expectations is the least of our
worries.
That said, you of course have the code to modify in any way you see fit. I
do not believe however that what you're suggesting is in the interests of
the majority of FreeBSD users.
