Very slow writing to SATA disk

That sounds a little high to me.  Smartctl has been weird lately, and
it only shows temp on one of my drives, but it (7200RPM 9gig SCSI) is
showing 32C.  The higher density probably burns a little more power,
but half again the temperature?
