ppp tun0: Warning: deflink: /dev/ucom0: Bad file descriptor

Hi, I'm trying to sync a Dell Axim X30 using
synce-dccm-0.9.1 and running FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE, but
ppp is failing with a "Bad file descriptor" message. 
What can I do?
