After ata subsystem is initialized it (CAM subsystem) writes:
(probe2:ata0:0:0:0) error 22
(probe2:ata0:0:0:0) Unretryable Error
(probe2:ata0:0:1:0) error 22
(probe2:ata0:0:1:0) Unretryable Error
atapicam0: timeout waiting for ATAPI ready
and then comes into infinite loop.
Hardware is IBM ThinkPad T40 with
ad0: 35329MB <IC25N040ATCS05-0> [71780/16/63] at ata0-master UDMA100
acd0: CDRW <UJDA745 DVD/CDRW> at ata1-master PIO4
