gimp - not able to open files

Gimp seems to still be suffering a known
conflict with exiv2-0.27.0

When I've migrated from FreeBSD 11 to 12 enable
and rebuilt the ports Gimp is no longer able to 
open image files; it appears related to this
issue last October
