That's funny, because when you look at www/webkit2-gtk3/Makefile, the check is
in "pre-configure" and all it does is checking for cairo-egl with pkg-config.
Is your $PATH mangled, do you build with non-default $PREFIX or something like
that? Perhaps the check is not robust enough?
