Dear Anton,

I have found the cause of the problem. I have "OPTIONS_UNSET= X11" globally in
make.conf, so pango was being built without X11 support. When I explicitly
configured OPTIONS_FILE_SET+=X11 for x11-toolkits/pango, the problem went away.

It's up to you to decide if it is a correct behavior for x11-wm/marco to fail
like that when X11 is unset in make.conf. or it should handle the situation
more gracefully.
