Sorry for leaving this hanging for so long. I don't have any excuses.

I'm currently using the new version, and will poudriere test the ports listed
in this PR before committing it.

Regarding the patch, the only thing I changed is that I changed the V38/V40
GROUP to a MULTI. Because looking at the logic in the SUBPIXEL_HINTING_MODE
selection there is not a !V38 && !V40 case. With Multi it 1 or more need to be
selected.

Also the description of the V38 and V40 options doesn't sit that well with me,
maybe improve it in some way? I can't think of something to do it, if nothing
can be suggested the current will do.
