Job Summary:

Base Salary: $89,900.00  - $114,840.00 per year. The salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience

Due to internal promotion and growth this team is adding a purchasing /strategic buyers to their team. You will be working with purchase orders, supplier scorecards, supplier profile folders and other documentation as required to ensure data integrity.

Essential Functions:
-  Negotiate and solicit the best price/value combination from suppliers and trade contractors;
-  Develop and qualify new subcontractors/suppliers while maintaining and monitoring existing ones
-  Coordinate the procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for the organization
-  Monitor all pricing for all outsourced materials and/or parts in accordance with target costs and departmental goals
-  Performs other duties as requested, in support of the overall operation of the department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
- MUST have a Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 plus years’ experience in purchasing/commodity management or related field
- Ability to work as part of a team and as independently
- Experience purchasing electronic materials, parts, components, etc.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities that frequently change
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time
- Proficient in MS Office Suite  (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
