marco consistently SIGABRTs on login (bug #198669)

Umm, honestly, I'm not even sure I had anything to do with that port. The
initial change adding it seems to be relatively recent, and I haven't done
anything with FreeBSD in like 10 years. If I had to guess someone copied
the makefile from somewhere else and didn't update the email?
