So, as far as I can tell, all looks ok, up until the (first and only) -

Can't open /dev/stdout for output.


What does `ls -l /dev/stdout` say about it?

Also, Is there anything more exotic on your build environment that might
be of some interest (e.g. running in jail, etc.)?
