The problem isn't fixed, only worked around. At least client/Makefile.am
does not list full dependencies and likely lacks some _DEPENDENCIES that
list libdconf. This problem is more serious than not supporting parallel
builds, but can also cause incomplete rebuilds after changes.  Please
take this to the upstream maintainers and leave the PR open or
suspended.
