FreeBSD Port: sysutils/hal

can't build hal on FreeBSD 8 (current) i386

undefined reference to 'hf_usb2_handler'
../hald/freebsd/.libs/libhald_freebsd.a(hf-devd.o)(.data.rel.ro+0x0): 
undefined reference to 'hf_usb2_devd_handler'
gmake[4]: *** [hald] Error 1

I was hoping you could tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if this is an 
actual error, as I can't portdowngrade or pkg_add -r hal... so right now 
I'm stuck in console.
