Gnome on FreeBSD

Hi there, I am trying to get gnome up and running on FreeBSD 7.l. 
However when I looked up the instructions here:

http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/docs/faq2.html

I found that almost none of the packages mentioned in the FAQ actually 
exist in packages-7-stable/Latest/, starting with gnome2. I tried going 
the ports way, but attempts at building gnome2 fails while attempting to 
build gnome-applets.

Are there different instructions somewhere?
