SDL-1.2.11 slow fetch

I realize this is beyond the control of the FreeBSD project,
but I'm currently building Gnome2 from ports and it was all
going very well until:

=> SDL-1.2.11.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/.
=> Attempting to fetch from http://www.libsdl.org/release/.
SDL-1.2.11.tar.gz                     4% of 2730 kB  295  Bps 02h30m

It has crept up to 9% while writing this!

Just a FYI really...
