Configure problem

You probably upgraded perl without following the instructions in 
/usr/ports/UPDATING.

Run portupgrade -f p5-\* and try the build again.

But, keep in mind that you can't use portupgrade to upgrade to 2.10. 
Start reading /usr/ports/UPDATING.
