here are two new FAQ entries for nautilus2.
hope that's ok...

franz.

Q: How do i disable the spartanic mode?

A: - Start the Configuration Editor
   - go to /apps/nautilus/preferences
   - activate the checkbox always_use_browser

Q: How do i turn on/off displaying the icons for "Computer", "Home" and
"Trash"?

A: - Start the Configuration Editor
   - go to /apps/nautilus/desktop
   - here you can turn on/off all three icons and also change the names for
     "Home" and "Trash".
A other way to chnage the named of the two icons is to right click
on the icons and select Preferences in the context-menu.
