Yeah, it's best to send it to PR with CC to the maintainer so the patch 
won't get in lost or whatever. I just sent it to PR with CC to the 
maintainer of velocity.

I like | better by personal prefer. :-) You can use ',', '|', '/' and 
others. I just pick |, because it's rare use to replace like for example 
if you want to change the path so the | made easier to use.
