gnumeric2 and gimp shows no any characters after upgrade to marcus ports tree

I cannot reproduce this on my GNOME 2.5 -CURRENT machine.  I did a
recursvie build on glib-2\* last night, and both Gnumeric and gimp-devel
look fine to me.  In fact, everything looks fine.  I recommend doing
another recursive build, but you may want to hold off until I commit
gtk+-2.3.5.
