GNOME 2.5 build failures

Build of complete GNOME 2.5 on a fresh system fails in the following
places:

1) gedit-plugins (gnome2-power-tools)
checking for pkg-config... /usr/local/bin/pkg-config
checking for gedit-2.4 >= 2.3.5... gnome-config: not found
gnome-config: not found
Package gedit-2.4 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gedit-2.4.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gedit-2.4' found


fugu-adamw-current# pkg_info -L gedit2\* | grep '.pc$'
/usr/X11R6/libdata/pkgconfig/gedit-2.6.pc

Either gedit-plugins needs to be kludged to build against gedit-2.6 or
it needs to be removed from gnome2-power-tools/Makefile.



2) quick-lounge-applet (gnome2-power-tools)
