 The mozilla ports install the .pc files in the correct location because
 more ports use mozilla than do firefox.  I still don't see what moving
 these files over would fix.

 Exactly.  There would be file conflicts, and I don't want to go hacking
 the port any further unless there is a real issue that will be fixed.
