Gnome upgrade problem with XFree 4.4.0

I decided to try simply removing the dependency referring to the 4.3.0 
libraries. That did the trick quite nicely for me.

Perhaps it might be of help to anybody else trying to use the upgrade 
script with 4.4.0 installed.
