GNOME errors with 4.8

I know, but there used to be a problem with the pristine version. 
Thankfully, though, it doesn't look like the problem still exists.

Yes.  I have fc-cache in the pkg-install for fontconfig, but looks like
I need the -f flag there, too.  I can do that now.
