svn-git mirror stalled

The backlog reported above resolved itself a short while later, but
the issue has recurred (and resolved) many times since then; it is
currently stalled at r343606, about 3 hours behind.

The occurrence frequency appears to be getting worse, and it happened
four times in the last week. Hardware upgrade(s) may be required -
more information to come after further investigation.
