'geom part status' reporting corruption every time i boot a foreign OS from CD/DVD

hi there,

i noticed that after booting the chromeOS, ubuntu, etc. live cds/dvds and
afterwards booting freebsd, 'geom part status' reports a corruption for
ada0p1:

  Name  Status  Components
ada0p1      OK  ada0
ada1p1      OK  ada1

usually the corruption dissapears after another reboot. iirc the issue was that
the backup gpt data got corrupted. why do the live cds/dvds even write data to
my hdd?

did anybody else experience this issue too?
