Although it shouldn't change ALSA, OSS was added as an option. Can you check if
you have media.cubeb.backend in your firefox about:config? If not, firefox is
trying to use default driver (I'm not sure which one is that). If that config
has value, only that driver will be used. You can set it to "oss" to use
FreeBSD native driver.
