Issue with firefox/thunderbird on recent head

Hi,

I'm not subscribed to this list, so please CC me.

But since I noticed firefox and thunderbird failing on recent head due
to r351253 (in src repo) and stumbled on a mail with a fix which works I
wanted to make sure this is known by the gecko maintainers.
