Sergey, can you reopen this please?  IMO this should be committed to the ports
tree.  I can't do this, so we have to hope that a committer does this for us. 
But it's unlikely to happen when this bug is closed.

The current ESR version will be with us for a while longer and you can't be the
only person to eventually run into this.
