I tested ctld on FreeBSD 11.0, and it would seem it is not affected by this
issue.

So I can try to use ctld as a workaround instead of istgt (I understand
performance should be better as well).

Though the issue as reported in this bug is still unresolved and IMO worthy of
being properly resolved.
