It has nothing to do with compression that the numbers are for the physical /
actual space on disk.  It's a problem with the space accounting.
I am not sure if the bad accounting and the checksum errors have the same cause
or if the checksum errors somehow cause the bad accounting.
Is there a chance that you could use a different disk for the cache device?
