Hi,

I’ve filed https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=193758 on the subject topic, but thought I would publicise the issue here too.

Short story: following a zpool upgrade on a FreeBSD 8.4 system, the system now freezes very early in boot process.
