Got the same problem on FreeBSD 10.1. While trying to mount truecrypt file
container (/root/cc) truecrypt just hangs:

# ps -xa | grep truecrypt
1159  -  I      0:00.00 truecrypt --filesystem=none -k --protect-hidden=no
/root/cc
1161  -  Is     0:00.00 truecrypt --filesystem=none -k --protect-hidden=no
/root/cc
1165  1  D      0:00.00 umount -- /tmp/.truecrypt_aux_mnt1


Can't kill any pf truecrypt processes.

Message in /var/log/messages:

Dec 21 13:54:19 desktop kernel: FUSE: strategy: filehandles are closed
