ZFS unable to import pool

Sounds to me like you will need to remove the disk ada7 from the system so ZFS marks it as failed. 

Depending on the raidz mode you have set for your zpool and the number of disks remaining being ok,  it should start.

You should then re-introduce ada7 and let the pool resilver.
