do you still experience this problem?
If so, you may to try the following patch: http://people.freebsd.org/~avg/zfs-vfs.diff

The patch is against quite recent head.
Not sure how well it would apply  to the stable branches (if you use those), but
it definitely needs the following two commits from head:
