There is work in progress to port the most recent zfs version
(including zfs diff support). In 9-current the zfs is at v15. There
are patches available for 8.1 to move it to v15 (search the archive).
There is also some work on the way to port some non-intrusive changes
from more recent zfs versions to the v15 in 9-current, but those are
changes which do not break compatibility. This means there is no
chance to get slog-removal support before the most recent zfs version
is imported, except you do the work yourself or pay someone (pjd@ or
mm@) to do the work.
Bye,
Alexander.

Last week a cop stopped me in my car. He asked me if I had a police record.
I said, no, but I have the new DEVO album. Cops have no sense of humor.
