 Hi,
 
 I think this problem persists only on amd64. I have rewritten some parts 
 of ext2fs and I feel this problem will not occur in the new 
 implementation. I don't have a merge for 7.x release for the new code 
 but if you want to try the code on 8.x mail me. Thanks!
