Gjournal reporting 1/2 the speed of non journaled? What is the status of Gjournal?

 This seems intersesting. Any idea when it may be
released into the wild?  It says he hoped for Q2
release and we are now in Quarter 4. Does he mean 2nd
quarter of next year?
