Hi all,
I'm configuring a RAID-5 filesystem on a Pentium III 1Ghz machine (FreeBSD
4.9-PRERELEASE). The disks are "dangerously dedidcated." I created the
filesystem using this:
hostname# vinum create -v -f /etc/vinum.conf
1: drive d1 device /dev/ad2s1e
2: drive d2 device /dev/ad4s1e
3: drive d3 device /dev/ad6s1e
4: drive d4 device /dev/ad8s1e
5: drive d5 device /dev/ad10s1e
6: volume raid5
7: plex org raid5 512k
8: sd length 78167m drive d1
9: sd length 78167m drive d2
10: sd length 78167m drive d3
11: sd length 78167m drive d4
12: sd length 78167m drive d5
5 drives:
Drive d1: Device /dev/ad2s1e
