synth manpage claims that it builds "in a clean environment".
Yet, math/suitesparse fails in synth.
poudriere builds in a clean environment, and it doesn't fail there.
I build on my system in a relatively clean environment, and the build doesn't
fail either.

So there is no indication that there is any problem in math/suitesparse itself.

Closing based on this, as "Not a bug in FreeBSD".

Garry, I recommend you report this failure to maintainers of synth, since the
problem most likely lies there.
