Hi all

Im trying to get my iPod v2 15GB to work in FreeBSD 5.1 but have runned into
some problems.

It detects my iPod when I connect and dissconnect it without any problems.

fwohci0: BUS reset
fwohci0: node_id=0xc800ffc1, gen=2, CYCLEMASTER mode
firewire0: 2 nodes, maxhop <= 1, cable IRM = 1 (me)
firewire0: bus manager 1 (me)
firewire0: New S400 device ID:000a2700020da515
da0 at sbp0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0

da0: 14305MB (29297520 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 1823C)
fwohci0: BUS reset
fwohci0: node_id=0xc800ffc0, gen=3, CYCLEMASTER mode
firewire0: 1 nodes, maxhop <= 0, cable IRM = 0 (me)
firewire0: bus manager 0 (me)

But I get this when I try to mount it.

gandalf# mount -t hfs /dev/da0
da0%   da0s1% da0s2% da0s3%
gandalf# mount -t hfs /dev/da0s1 /mnt/
hfs: /dev/da0s1: Invalid argument
gandalf# mount -t hfs /dev/da0s2 /mnt/
hfs: /dev/da0s2: Invalid argument
gandalf# mount -t hfs /dev/da0s3 /mnt/
hfs: /dev/da0s3: Invalid argument

hfs: mount: sig 0x4d50 and version 0x0 are not HFS or HFS+.
hfs: mount: sig 0x0 and version 0x0 are not HFS or HFS+.

I'm using the GENERIC kernel with the only addition

options          GEOM_APPLE             # Apple partitioning

Its a MAC iPod and its has been connected and loaded from a Powerbook.

Thanks in advanced.
-Andreas
