Do you have vboxguest.ko loaded and are you sure you're using
virtualbox-ose-additions 6.1.20?

I believe this issue has been resolved with this commit and included with
6.1.18_1:

I just tried with 13.0-RELEASE vm from
https://app.vagrantup.com/bento/boxes/freebsd-13.0 and upgraded
virtualbox-ose-additions-nox11 to 6.1.20, the shared folder works fine.
