The "quick fix" of making a symlink is not a fix at all. 
Also "or just remove it from pkg-plist" means nothing to me. 

This bug is real and it stops the build of 'virtualbox-ose'. 

We have no choice but to build 'virtualbox-ose' because of :

This is seen from following the errata for "production" release 11.2 : 

    https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.2R/errata.html

So then, at the moment a manual symlink won't address the problem.
